Hard to believe I'm inching close to that time of life. After the big party we held last Sat, although it's still about 1 month from my real 29th birthday, it's inevitably incredibly close.

Ok, think I'll stop here, before I sound like a age-whining sissy :) Anyway, the record that party set is, at least 5 totally drunk, and numerous quite drunk, and yet some slightly drunk. When things were quite out of control, threats about eating the pet bird, driving in reverse on RT-1 at 60 mph etc were proposed; it was quite close to the point where the house could be burnt down.

Uh-oh. While chatting with Rodent, I asked whether his wife is one of the 5 totally drunk people and he said no.
Then he started calling the 5 the "core of 5". Now it seems like I'm the only (non-Shanghainese) woman in a group where the rest of the members are all Shanghainese man. This observation of mine is very alarming.
I thought my resemblance to Comrade Jiang Qing had ended when I stopped wearing black framed glasses in public. Apparently, not so. Oh well.
i was also wondering who were among those five. . . and the most important, am I one of them?
Xiaotao was quite high as well, no?
as to Comarade Jiang, now I recall that I did have that feeling when moira was wearing her glasses.
